Milford Elementary’s flag flies in Antarctica

Milford Elementary capped their Antarctica adventure by Skyping with a Penguin scientist, Jean Pennycook, in Antarctica. During their recent studies, K-5 students researched, observed, and wrote in their journals about the Penguins and their nests. Students designed their own postcards that were sent back stamped by the Antarctica post office.  They competed in a design a flag contest, where the winning flag would fly at the research center where the Penguins live near, and to no surprise the Milford student’s flag was flying high!
