Every morning at Morris Hill Elementary, the first-grade hallways come alive with the sounds of laughter, learning and a warm welcome from first grade teacher Brianna Fansler.

Due to the boil water advisory in the area, all schools in Junction City will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 13. All after-school activities in town are canceled on Thursday.

USD 475 is proud to announce that it has 11 schools who have earned high rankings in the latest U.S. News and World Report “Best Schools” lists, including five schools in Junction City High School, Fort Riley Middle School, Grandview Elementary, Sheridan Elementary and Spring Valley Elementary who ranked in the top 100 schools in the state of Kansas by the prestigious outlet.
