Kindergarten is an exciting year of learning, growth and new experiences! Students build academic skills while learning school routines, developing friendships and participating in Music, P.E., Art and library activities.

Students work on letter names and sounds, sight words, early reading and writing skills, counting, numbers and quantities to 20, shapes, addition and subtraction, and solving simple word problems. Through 10 thematic units, students explore reading, writing, science and social studies while learning through the College and Career Readiness Standards.
